XTech Tactical is proud to announce the launch of two complementary products that expand capacity options for Glock 17-style 9mm magazines: the MAG17™ EXT Extended Mag for Glock 17 and the MTX® 17 +5 Mag Extension.
The MAG17 EXT is a complete 22-round Glock extended magazine. It pairs XTech’s steel-reinforced magazine body with the company’s MTX 17 +5 extension, delivering a fully integrated Extended mag for Glock 17 that fits everything accepting a standard 17-round Glock-style magazine. The MTX 17 +5 Mag Extension, sold separately, converts any Generation 3, 4, 5, or 6 Glock factory 17-round magazine (or XTech® MAG17-17™) into a higher-capacity setup in seconds.
Both products were refined with input from law enforcement and military testers and have been validated through testing that has surpassed 10,000 rounds across dozens of platforms. They are available now in Black and FDE in convenient 1-pack, 2-pack, and 5-pack options, with additional colors planned throughout 2026. The only known fitment issues are that the Glock 19x requires the lanyard loop to be removed, and earlier production TTI magwells for Gen 3 Glocks.
