RMJ Tactical debuts the Knib

RMJ Tactical introduces the Knib, a stainless steel awl designed for versatility and convenience. Weighing 1.4 ounces and measuring 4.75 inches, it features a rubber grip and is available in Tungsten Gray and Black Cerakote finishes. The Knib includes a Kydex sheath for easy carry and multiple uses.

Ryan has been making custom, forged awls for a couple of decades so we decided a Swiss turned production awl would be a great fit in our lineup. Meet the Knib, the Knobs little brother!

These are turned from 440C stainless steel and topped with a grippy, black rubber ball. There are two Cerakote colors available; Tungsten Gray & Black. At 4.75″ long and a weight of 1.4 ounces, the Knib can be carried and concealed with ease. Each one includes a Kydex sheath equipped with an UltiClip for a wide range of carry options.

What is it for? To make a hole in, or through something. Beyond holes, awls are great for opening your pile of Amazon boxes and sparing the edge on your knife, they make a good scribe also. From an EDC standpoint, it’s another great get off me tool where you may not be able to carry a knife.
