Most flared magwells force you to choose between lightweight 3D printed parts, expensive billet aluminum, or products that simply weren’t designed for duty use. We decided to build something better. We evaluated every option before designing the X-Flare. 3D printed magwells are lightweight and inexpensive to produce, but impact strength and long-term durability simply weren’t where we wanted them. Billet aluminum is certainly strong, but it adds unnecessary weight, costs significantly more, and can wear the finish on your lower over time.
