Each barrel features a match grade 416R stainless steel core that is button rifled and hand lead lapped for exceptional consistency. The core is then integrated with Helix 6 Precision’s proprietary high carbon, low resin composite system to deliver an optimized balance of strength, rigidity, and weight reduction.
The OCTO geometry is engineered into the barrel itself, using flat surfaces and reinforced corners to increase stiffness and reduce deflection compared to traditional round profiles. This structural design also enables more intentional carbon fiber orientation, improving stability under heat and sustained firing.
The result is a barrel system engineered to maintain a consistent point of impact as barrel temperatures change.
