Palmetto State has launched the H&R 605 5.56 NATO rifle featuring a 15.3″ barrel and a Gray Type 3 Hard Coat Anodized upper receiver. This rifle mimics the M16 carbine design, with hand-fitted assembly in the USA. Key specs include a lightweight profile, chrome-lined barrel, and full-auto bolt carrier. Overall length is 35 inches, weighing 6 lbs.
The H&R 605 style rifle closely replicates the early attempt at creating a carbine for the M16 platform. The upper receiver is the “shaved” 605 style in a Gray Type 3 Hard Coat Anodized. The 3-prong flash hider is pinned in place to get over 16”. These complete rifles are hand fitted and assembled right here in the United States of America.
