Palmetto State Armory introduces new IC Receiver Sets for 6mm ARC and .338 ARC, designed to work with Magpul ICAR magazines. Features include an ambidextrous bolt catch, flared magwell, and compatibility with various milspec parts. Six color options will be available, along with Magpul ICAR magazines at launch.
This is the receiver set that we designed to work with 6mm arc as well as 338 arc using the new Magpul ICAR magazines. The Saber IC receiver set will feature a pre-installed ambi bolt catch and release that uses a threaded set screw versus a roll pin. That way, if you ever have to take it apart, you don’t need. It will also have a flared magwell and integrated trigger guard. It is compatible with milspec triggers, safeties, front and rear pins, as well as charging handle. Now, I know what you’re going to ask. Where am I going to get the parts to finish this build? During our development cycle of our E4 bolt and barrel system, we also made sure that this receiver set would be compatible with 6mm ARC barrels and most 6.5 Grendel bolts on the market. Now, that is important to you because you can use commonly available parts today or you can use our E4 bolt system and still be able to use the Magpul ICAR magazines. So, here’s what’s going to be available at launch, We will have six different colors. We will have FDE, burnt bronze, black, blue titanium, champagne, and moss green. We will also have Magpul ICAR magazines available, And to be clear, this receiver set is only compatible with the Magpul ICAR magazines.
