Shadow Strategic has introduced the S417 Lower receiver, crafted from original Heckler & Koch 417 forgings. It supports HK 417 and MR762 uppers, featuring a full-auto pocket cut. The SG28 variant, designed for HK G28 uppers, lacks this cut and includes specific operational pictograms.
Shadow Strategic states “Our S417 and SG28 lower receivers are precision machined from original Heckler & Koch 417 forgings and are compatible with HK 417, HK MR762, and HK G28 upper receiver groups, depending on variant. The S417 is built to 417-spec, featuring a full-auto pocket cut and 3-position pictograms, and is compatible with HK MR762 and HK 417 uppers. The SG28 variant is configured without a full-auto pocket cut and features Safe / Semi pictograms only. It also incorporates a G28-spec rear takedown pin position, making it compatible exclusively with genuine HK G28 steel upper receivers.For a cleaner exterior appearance and greater flexibility, the manufacturer’s information and serial number are engraved beneath the trigger guard area, allowing the end user to engrave the pertinent exterior areas as they wish.”
