Ferro Concepts state “The 5” Assault Cummerbund is a semi-rigid cummerbund that enhances stability and weight distribution for the end-user. The 5AC features color-matched laser-cut thermoplastic and a hidden stretch section that adjusts automatically to body movement for added comfort. Integrated interior One Wrap has been added for comms routing and cable management. The cummerbund can be flipped to use the integrated comms routing on either the top or bottom. It attaches to any vest with hook-and-loop fasteners on the front and rear plate bags. Its rigidity supports side armor without the sag seen in other designs, and its 5-inch height maintains stability under increased loads.”
