Create your own personal composition from exquisite ornamentation and filigree engraving motifs. Choose an ornament – from traditional oak leaves to thistle leaves and Acanthus to fine English style – and combine it with a motif of your choice, such as red deer, roe deer, wild boar or the J.P. Sauer & Sohn lettering. The result is an engraving that elegantly combines individuality and the highest precision craftsmanship.
Each stock is made from fine walnut wood and is one-of-a-kind, with its individual grain emphasizing its uniqueness. Wood grade 7 is the high-quality standard, but higher-grade stock woods are also available as an option, further enhancing the exclusivity. A height-adjustable comb can be added if required.
The matt DLC-coated barrel offers high scratch resistance, long-lasting surface protection and an elegant, modern look. In addition, nitrided surfaces provide improved corrosion protection, high wear resistance and maximum durability – even under the most demanding hunting conditions.
On request, your initials can be engraved into the inlay of the pistol grip cap, harmoniously framed by the selected ornaments. This fine detail gives the Sauer 505 Avantgarde Grand Luxe a exclusive touch and makes each one truly one-of-a-kind.

Barrel and receiver are manufactured on site in Isny/Germany. Every barrel is cold-hammer forged guaranteeing the renowned Sauer precision of less than one MOA. Our receivers are made using the latest CNC milling technology, in order to perfect the symbiosis of barrel and receiver as well as Sauer’s legendary smooth bolt operation.”
