Griffin Armament introduces the CHECKMATE AM22 SILENCER, a durable .22 caliber suppressor made from advanced Nickel 625X alloy using DMLS additive manufacturing. It features an integrated EZ-LOK™ mounting system for secure attachment and includes a barrel adapter. The suppressor can handle calibers up to .223 Remington with longer barrels.
Griffin Armament states “The CHECKMATE-AM™ Silencer is a heavy duty .22cal suppressor constructed from Griffin’s proprietary Nickel 625X powder alloy, utilizing state-of-the-art DMLS additive manufacturing technology.
The EZ-LOK™ mounting system is integrated into the rear of the suppressor ensuring solid lockup and positive retention to the host firearm, minimizing the risk of a baffle strike vs. direct thread suppressors. Included with the suppressor is a 1/2×28 TPI EZ-LOK™ barrel adapter, which is installed to the host firearm barrel using 22ft/lbs of torque creating a quick mounting, universal thread pitch across all of your host platforms.
The proprietary Nickel 625X alloy showed in testing a ~68% increase in yield and tensile strength at 1200F over INCONEL® 625, a commonly used suppressor alloy. This advanced material makes these silencers rated for 5.7×28, 22-250, and even .223 Remington on 16″ or longer barrels”
