Weatherby introduces the SORIX Turkey, designed for spring hunting with a reliable inertia recoil system. Featuring 24” barrels for maneuverability, it includes oversized controls, an integrated rear sight, and is optics ready. Crafted for both right and left-handed shooters, this model offers exceptional handling and durability in tough conditions.

Available in Mossy Oak Original Bottomland, this turkey specific model blends seamlessly into hardwoods, river bottoms, and early season cover. The SORIX Turkey features shorter 24” barrels for improved maneuverability in thick timber and ground blinds, giving hunters faster target acquisition when it matters most. An extended turkey choke is included to deliver consistent patterns and tight patterns with today’s modern turkey loads. The barrel also includes an integrated rear flip-up sight for sleak and accurate shooting.
The SORIX Turkey is built for reliable performance during the spring turkey season. Powered by Weatherby’s proven inertia recoil system, it delivers consistent cycling and dependable operation when it matters most. This turkey specific model features shorter 24” barrels for improved maneuverability in tight timber and ground blinds. Oversized controls, including the safety, charging handle, and bolt release button allow for easy and intuitive operation, even with gloves. The stepped rib features and integrated rear flip-up sight and fiber optic bead to support fast target acquisition and natural pointing. The receiver is drilled and tapped making the SORIX Turkey optics ready right out of the box.
Adjustable stock shims are included to allow shooters to fine tune cast and fitment. Designed with Weatherby’s Shift System, the SORIX Turkey supports both right and left handed shooters. With a simple swap of the charging handle and safety, left handed users experience the same control and ergonomics as right handed shooters.
The receiver and barrel feature a Cerakote finish to help resist moisture and wear in spring conditions. The stock includes textured grip areas for control and a soft cheekpiece for added comfort. All SORIX models are crafted in Italy with the final fit, finish, and inspection done in Sheridan, Wyoming.
The SORIX Turkey is compatible with the CRIO® Plus choke tube pattern and ships with a custom Trulock extended turkey choke along with five additional CRIO® Plus chokes, including cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified, and full. A choke wrench and carrying case are also included.”
