The Klear K4 open red dot has been released

The Klear K4 Open Red Dot has been launched, designed for direct attachment to Glock™ MOS systems. Featuring a solar-assisted power system and multi-directional light sensors, it automatically adjusts reticle brightness. With an internal rechargeable battery and manual override, the K4 ensures optimal visibility in varying lighting conditions.

KLEAR states “The Klear K4 Open Red Dot is a low-profile, slide-direct micro optic engineered for pistol platforms that support direct mounting without adapter plates. Designed around a solar-assisted power system with multi-directional light sensors, the K4 automatically regulates reticle brightness in real time—delivering optimal visibility across rapidly changing lighting environments.

An internal rechargeable power cell allows the K4 to operate for extended periods without battery replacement. Under normal or moderate light exposure, the optic can remain operational indefinitely. A built-in brightness override functionenables temporary high-output mode when required, while an integrated low-power indicator provides advance notice well before charging is needed.”
