Textron Systems has secured a $163.4 million contract to deliver 65 COMMANDO™ Select Vehicles to Ukraine as part of the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative. This three-year award enhances Ukraine’s military capabilities by improving ground mobility and defensive operations, leveraging Textron’s proven track record in providing robust armored vehicles.
Textron Systems state “Textron Systems Corporation, a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, announced today that it has been awarded a $163.4M contract through the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) via the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) mechanism from the U.S. Army Contracting Command Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) to provide 65 Mobile Strike Force Vehicle (MSFV), COMMANDO™ Select vehicles, including one year of spare parts. The three-year firm fixed priced award covers the build and delivery of the new vehicles to support USAI, strengthening Ukraine’s military by improving ground mobility and defensive capabilities.
