Stoeger has launched the STR-45 Combat pistol, a .45 ACP model designed for duty use. It features a secure grip, interchangeable backstraps, and a full-length frame for accessories. The pistol includes 16-round magazines, a 5.18-inch threaded barrel, and high-visibility fiber-optic sights, priced at $649.

Built on the same proven ergonomics and performance-driven design as its predecessors, the STR-45 Combat features a high-traction grip and undercut trigger guard that deliver a secure hold, optimal hand placement, and enhanced control for fast, repeatable follow-up shots. Interchangeable small, medium, and large backstraps allow shooters to dial in the fit for their hand size.
The full-length frame runs flush to the end of the slide, providing ample space for mounting a tactical light or laser, while an enlarged magwell supports fast, efficient reloads when it counts.
Up top, the STR-45 Combat is equipped with high-visibility, suppressor-height fiber-optic sights. The fully adjustable rear sight allows for precise windage and elevation adjustments and pairs with the front post to deliver a crisp, fast-acquiring sight picture. The slide is optic-ready and includes four mounting plates to accommodate popular optic footprints.
Capacity is another standout feature. While the standard STR-45 runs 13-round magazines, the Combat model steps up to 16-round magazines—three included—for a 16+1 round capacity. The STR-45 Combat features a 5.18-inch barrel to fully harness the ballistic potential of the .45 ACP. For suppressor use, the barrel is threaded .578×28 and includes a thread protector.”
