Stoeger introduces the STR-9 Thinline, a crossover pistol designed for everyday carry. With a slim profile and extended grip, it improves handling for larger hands without sacrificing concealability. The striker-fired 9mm features a 14- or 16-round capacity, tritium sights, and is compatible with optic mounts, enhancing accuracy and retention.

Stoeger states “The criteria for deep-concealing an everyday carry pistol starts with an ultra-compact profile and short dimensions. Unfortunately, that formula often makes for difficult operation and a compromised grip for men and women with larger hands.

To satisfy the requirements of concealable carry and confident operation, Stoeger engineers have developed the STR-9 Thinline — a crossover pistol with dimensions suited to the needs of the CCW practitioner but with a grip configuration more in line with a compact handgun.

The STR-9 Thinline gets its name from its slender, one-inch-wide slide and frame assembly, which is the same dimension as Stoeger’s STR-9MC micro-compact 9mm. The difference is in the extended grip length. With ample room available for all three gripping fingers plus enhanced stippling patches, the STR-9 Thinline offers a solid hand wrap and full support for improved accuracy, faster follow-up shots, and positive weapon retention.

But don’t let the lean profile fool you; the STR-9 Thinline makes no compromises. This striker-fired 9mm offers 14- and 16-round capacity with its three included magazines. The front and rear tritium sights ensure a clean sight picture and rapid sight alignment across a full range of lighting conditions. Should you desire a pistol-mounted optic, the STR-9 Thinline stands ready to receive with an optic cut that is direct-mount-compatible with sights featuring the RMSc Shield footprint.”
