Smith & Wesson has launched the 2026 Spec Series VI M&P® M2.0® Metal Compact and the Spec Series R Model 686 Plus, featuring advanced technologies for enhanced shooting performance. Key innovations include an in-line ported barrel for reduced recoil, a direct mount for the Aimpoint ACRO P-2 sight, and durable Cerakote finishes.

SPEC SERIES VI M&P® 9 M2.0® METAL COMPACT

  • In-line Ported Barrel with Slide Cut – Quad in-line porting strategically designed to divert gas upward reduces felt recoil without adding overall length to the barrel.
  • Mount Slide with Aimpoint ACRO P-2 Sight – Direct mount slide for Aimpoint ACRO P-2 lowers optic height while providing a plate free connection.
  • Floyds Custom Shop EDC Magwell – Assists in quick magazine insertion while also providing a grip ledge.
  • Aluminum frame with champagne-color Cerakote® finish

SPEC SERIES R MODEL 686 PLUS NO LOCK

  • Aimpoint® ACRO® P-2 Mount and Optic – Custom rear sight Aimpoint ACRO mounting plate, with Aimpoint ACRO P-2 Optic.
  • PowerPort™ – Vented barrel for recoil management.
