Henry debuts the American Cattleman Tribute edition rifle

Henry Repeating Arms introduces the American Cattleman Tribute Edition Rifle, honoring the hardworking individuals dedicated to ranching and cattle raising. Built on a brass-framed .30-30 lever action platform, it features intricate engravings celebrating the cattleman lifestyle, including Texas Longhorns and cow-calf imagery, symbolizing the enduring heritage of the American West.

Henry Repeating Arms states “Built with pride in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, the American Cattleman Tribute Edition Rifle is a celebration of the men and women who live by hard work, responsibility, and a deep bond with the land. Whether displayed on the wall or carried in the field, it stands as a lasting symbol of an American way of life that has shaped our nation for generations.

From the wide-open ranges of the 19th-century Western frontier to the family ranches that have stood steadfast for generations, America has always depended on the men and women who raise the cattle that feed our nation. The American Cattleman Tribute Edition Rifle is our tip of the hat to this enduring way of life that helped settle the frontier, shape the American West, and continues to sustain us to this day.

Built on our brass-framed .30-30 lever action platform, this rifle is a tribute to those who put in the long, hard hours from sunup to sundown and the animals at the heart of it all. Whether you run cattle across thousands of acres, work a tight-knit family operation, or simply respect the grit required to raise America’s beef, this rifle stands as a proud symbol of that heritage.

The right side of the receiver captures the timeless image of a cattleman on horseback, rope in hand, preparing to throw a loop as he charges across open country. A flowing scroll banner carries the words “LONG LIVE THE AMERICAN CATTLEMAN,” underscoring the central theme of the rifle. Just forward of the side loading gate, a pair of spurred boots, a coiled rope, and a well-worn cowboy hat rest ready for the next day’s work. Classic 19th-century scrollwork and barbed-wire borders anchor the artwork in authentic Western style.

On the left side of the receiver, the iconic Texas Longhorn takes center stage as the oldest North American cattle breed and a cultural symbol of both the ranching lifestyle and the state that bears its name. The engraved scene is framed by the same barbed-wire and scrollwork motif, with Texas prickly pear cactus adding a regional touch.

The genuine American walnut buttstock features an engraved and hand-painted scene of a cow-calf Angus pair grazing peacefully, watched over by a protective bull in the distance. This artwork pays tribute not only to the animals at the core of the cattle industry but also to the ranchers who nurture and guard them. A rope-patterned border frames the scene, tying it visually and thematically to the receiver artwork.”
