Remington set to launch new rimfire and shotshell loads for 2026

Remington is set to launch new rimfire and shotshell loads in 2026, including the Royal Flush and Final Strut turkey loads, which enhance energy retention. The Performance Wheelgun 22, designed for rimfire revolvers, features a low-noise 39-grain bullet. These products will be showcased at the 2026 SHOT Show in Las Vegas.

Remington states “Remington Ammunition announces several new shotshell options, plus a new rimfire load for 2026. This includes new options in Royal Flush upland loads as well as an all-new Final Strut lineup of turkey loads. And in rimfire, Remington will deliver its all-new Performance Wheelgun 22 product line.

The new Remington Final Strut loads are two 3-inch, 12-gauge. 2-ounce loads in No. 6 or 7 shot, and two 3-inch, 20-gauge. 1-1/4-ounch loads in No. 6 or 7 shot. These four turkey loads deliver greater retained energy at longer distances due to their heavy payloads of 12 g/cc tungsten pellets.

The new Royal Flush loads are two 2-3/4-inch, 12-gauge. 1-1/4-ounch loads in No. 7.5 or 8 shot, and two 2-3/4-inch, 20-gauge. 1-ounce loads in No. 7.5 or 8 shot. These Premier grouse and quail loads feature magnum-grade copper-plated payloads to ensure knock-down power.

The new Performance Wheelgun 22 load is 22 Long Rifle, 39-grain. This 22 LR load features a truncated-cone bullet designed for low noise and optimal performance in rimfire revolvers.
