MDT has released the new AP Throw Lever Head

MDT has launched the AP Throw Lever Head, a robust mounting solution designed for quick adjustments and stability. It interfaces with ARMS-17 platforms and is compatible with ARCA and Picatinny rails, streamlining the user experience. Features include a textured lever for improved grip, a fully black finish, and adjustable clamping force.

MDT Sporting Goods state “MDT is proud to introduce the AP Throw Lever Head, a rugged, versatile, and efficiency-driven mounting solution engineered for shooters who demand rapid adjustments and rock-solid stability in the field or on the line.

Built to interface with ARMS-17 mounting platforms, the AP Throw Lever Head offers seamless compatibility with both ARCA and Picatinny rails, eliminating the need for multiple heads or adapters. Its intuitive three-position throw lever—Open, Slide, and Closed—makes for fast transitions, while a single tension-nut system allows shooters to fine-tune clamping force to their exact preference.

Designed with real-world use in mind, the AP Throw Lever Head features a fully blacked-out finish for a clean profile and a textured lever that delivers positive tactile feedback, even when wearing gloves. This upgraded system also represents an improved QD solution for ARMS-17 equipped CKYE-POD GEN2 and GRND-POD, and is the standard interface on the new CKYE-POD GEN3.”

FEATURES:

  • Fully blacked-out finish for a streamlined tactical look
  • Textured throw lever for improved grip and identification
  • Adjustable clamping force via a single tension nut
  • Compatible with both ARCA and Picatinny rails using one head
  • Attaches to any ARMS-17 interface
  • Enhanced quick-detach performance for ARMS-17 equipped CKYE-POD GEN2 and GRND-POD.
