Derya Arms introduces the DY9 COMP, a 9mm pistol designed for concealed carry, home defense, and range use. Made in Florida, it features a striker-fired design, 15+1 capacity, threaded barrel for suppressors, and an optic-ready slide compatible with various red dots. The pistol offers customizable grips and enhanced cooling.
Derya Arms states “Derya Arms proudly announces the launch and immediate availability of the DY9 COMP, the newest addition to the DY9 family of American-made 9mm pistols. Crafted in Jacksonville, Florida, the DY9 COMP brings elite performance and tactical versatility to concealed carry, home defense, and range use.
The DY9 COMP builds on the foundation of the DY9 with a striker-fired design, 15+1 capacity (10+1 models also available), and a threaded honeycomb stainless steel barrel paired with a compensator that redirects gases upward to minimize muzzle rise and felt recoil for flatter, faster follow-up shots. The threaded barrel allows seamless suppressor swaps without sacrificing reliability.
An optic-ready slide includes two universal plates compatible with Trijicon, Vortex, Truglo, Docter, Meopta, and Insight red dots. Truglo fiber optic sights (red front, green rear) ensure rapid target acquisition. The polymer grip features four interchangeable backstraps (S, M, L, XL) for a tailored fit, while slide cuts and the honeycomb-patterned barrel enhance cooling, reduce weight, and add aggressive styling.”
