Starline Brass has introduced new brass casings for the 25-06 cartridge, which originated as a wildcat over a century ago and became commercial in 1969. The cartridge, derived from a necked down 30-06 case, is recognized for its accuracy and balance of power and recoil, suitable for varmint and big game hunting.
Starline states “Originating over 100 years ago as a wildcat, the 25-06 became a commercial cartridge in 1969. Based off of a necked down 30-06 case, this .25 caliber cartridge is known for superb accuracy as well has a great balance of power and recoil. With proper bullet selection, it stands out as a great long range varmint cartridge as well as a great whitetail and antelope cartridge.”
