Canik expands popular MC9 Prime with new Two Tone model

Canik has introduced a new Two Tone model of its METE MC9 PRIME, featuring Flat Dark Earth and black colors. This model retains advanced features like a compensated barrel, enhanced sights, and improved grip stippling, designed for better performance and control, catering to various shooting needs and preferences while maintaining a tactical aesthetic.

Canik states “CANiK® proudly announces the launch of a new colorway for the METE MC9 PRIME, FDE (Flat Dark Earth) and black. CANiK’s flagship 9mm platform engineered in their state-of-the-art facility in West Palm Beach, FL. The new color option combines tactical aesthetics with a low-glare, durable finish to better suit a wide variety of duty, competitive, and everyday carry preferences.

The METE MC9 PRIME in FDE two tone retains the advanced upgrades that define the model: an enhanced compensated barrel and slide with an integrated expansion chamber that reduces muzzle rise and muzzle blast for faster, more accurate follow-up shots. Night Fision tritium sights are standard, providing superior low-light sight picture and confidence in all lighting conditions. A Flat face trigger with crisp 90° break designed for the micro compact frame. And new full grip surface stippling with increased front and rear texture for more secure grip purchase.

“The MC9 PRIME was designed to bring the highest level of performance and shooter confidence to a compact 9mm package,” said Jeff Rose, Canik USA Marketing Director. “Introducing the two tone FDE to the lineup gives shooters a refined colorway that complements the Mete MC9 PRIME’s performance upgrades while offering a distinct tactical look.”
