General Dynamics has introduced the NEXUS NGC2-ready Expeditionary X-domain Undetectable Stryker, a modified Stryker A1 featuring a higher roof and redesigned sidewalls for enhanced command post operations. Its advanced computing capabilities allow control of various unmanned systems, while its design helps it minimize detection across multiple spectrums.
General Dynamics state “A concept vehicle to enable mission command on the move, NEXUS starts with an existing Stryker A1 and adds a higher roof and redesigned sidewalls, providing additional cargo volume and internal height for extended command post operations on maneuver.
The vehicle’s advanced computing power enables the command of multiple unmanned ground and air systems, and NEXUS also can “hide in plain sight” by using Human-Machine Integration to reduce signatures across the visual, thermal, acoustic and electromagnetic spectrums.”
