JMac Customs has unveiled the 360HD Plan B Taper Mount series, designed for suppressor compatibility with various HUB systems. These devices feature a unique taper for secure attachment, eliminating carbon-lock risks and reducing weight. Made from high-quality stainless steel, the series offers multiple thread pitch options, promoting efficient firearm use.
JMac Customs state “For years, we’ve offered suppressor compatible muzzle devices such as KeyMount, 51T, and our X-Series direct thread devices. We’re now happy to introduce our Taper Mount muzzle devices. These devices utilize the “Plan B” pattern threads and taper, and are compatible with most HUB compatible (1.375-24) suppressors using our TA-90T Taper Mount Suppressor Adapter. The TA-90T can be used to attach any HUB compatible suppressor or device such as our BDS-37 Blast Diversion Shield.
Taper Mount devices utilize a combination of threads and a tapered surface to securely attach the suppressor or device to the firearm. The taper increases the amount of contact made between the two surfaces, which allows your suppressor to remain secure without the use of tools. When combined with precise machining, the tapered surface also ensures that carbon and gases cannot make their way in-between the device and adapter, eliminating the possibility of carbon-lock.
Some suppressor mounts and adapters utilize a mechanical locking system, consisting of multiple moving parts, pins, and springs, which increases the potential for failure. These “mechanical” adapters are typically much larger, which will ultimately increase the overall length and weight of your firearm. When combined, our Taper Mount and TA-90T adapter have the lowest profile currently available. When compared to other, mechanical suppressor mounting options, our TA-90T is a fraction of the cost, length, and weight. We will be offering a variety of thread pitch options to include ½-28, 5/8-24,14x1LH, 24×1.5RH, 26×1.5LH, 11/16-24, 13.5x1LH, and M18x1.5. All devices are manufactured from high-quality 17-4ph stainless steel and finished in black nitride. As always, all of our products are 100% made in the USA!”
