Badger Ordnance introduces the Condition One Nightcap, a lightweight solution for low light settings. It securely attaches to standard elevation turret mounts, illuminating settings without batteries or excessive light. Constructed from durable nylon, it houses a ChemLight for visibility while maintaining night vision, including three green ChemLights for illumination.
Badger Ordnance states “Identifying your elevation turret settings in low light/no light settings ranges from difficult to impossible without the aid of a flashlight, which can either destroy your natural night vision or bring unwanted illumination to your firing position. Relying on head borne nightvision systems to identify your elevation settings can also prove difficult as you may not have the resolution nor the focus to see your turret settings.
The Condition One Nightcap is a simple and durable solution to this problem, without the need for batteries or exposing more illumination than needed. The C1 Nightcap clips securely to any standard 34mm and 35mm Condition One mount (not compatible with C1 MAX), illuminating your elevation turret through a small slot on the front of the cap. Made from a high tensile nylon with a reentrant groove designed to seat a Cyalume 1.5″ mini type A ChemLight, the C1 Nightcap is durable while being extremely lightweight at only .2 ounces. The C1 Nightcap comes with 3 included 1.5″ mini type A green ChemLights, each with an illumination duration of 4 hours.”
