Primary Arms Optics state “Primary Arms Optics is proud to announce the release of the new PLxC 1-8x24mm First Focal Plane (FFP) Rifle Scope, now featuring the revolutionary Red Dot Bright® (RDB) illumination system and the ACSS® Raptor G2 reticle. This scope marks a significant milestone for Primary Arms as the first to incorporate diffractive reticle technology, offering red dot-like brightness in a first focal plane LPVO.

Externally, the new scope maintains all the best features of its predecessor: an ultra-compact, lightweight body that balances perfectly atop carbines and SPR-style rifles. It has an extremely wide field of view, along with a reduced-profile body for minimal visual obstruction. The turrets use steel-on-steel components for a lifetime of accurate tracking, and the magnification ring is UML compatible. But what sets this optic apart is its RDB reticle, which uses diffractive technology for exceptionally bright illumination—far surpassing traditional etch-and-fill reticles.

By design, the ACSS Raptor G2 is a versatile reticle that blends close-range agility with long-range capability. Calibrated for 5.56 NATO, .308 Winchester, and similar cartridges, the reticle includes full vertical and horizontal ranging stadia, wind holds, and moving target leads. With integrated Bullet Drop Compensation (BDC) and auto-ranging features, users can quickly estimate distance and engage targets from 100 to 1000 yards away. And with RDB technology powering its illumination, target acquisition is quick and seamless, even up close.

“The PLx 1-8×24 FFP RDB Compact Rifle Scope is the new flagship LPVO of Primary Arms Optics,” said Scott Tirman, Vice President of Optics at Primary Arms. “We’ve taken all the performance users expect from our PLx series and combined it with a truly groundbreaking reticle technology. This optic is fast, smart, and built to meet the needs of today’s most demanding marksmen.”
