Magpul has introduced the MBUS Pro® Hooded Front Sight, designed for personalizing sight picture preferences. The all-steel construction features a tool-free elevation adjustment, improved post widths for different shooting styles, and stable detents. When combined with the Rear MBUS Pro sight, it enables faster target acquisition and precise shooting.
Magpul states “Every shooter has different ideas on how they like their firearms setup. One of the biggest personal preferences is sight picture. As shooters ourselves, we like options, so we opened the door wide open on sight picture selection by adding a hooded front sight variant of our MBUS Pro sights. The sight is made from steel with a QPQ finish, making as durable as it is utilitarian. Between the toolless elevation adjustment knob, an enhanced post allowing for different widths (.04ʺ for match shooting, and .06ʺ standard widths for those familiar with typical front-post sizes), and detents to keep the sight in place whether stowed or deployed (which rides at the standard height so the sight works with all other rear sights), this sight packs a lot in a little footprint. The coolest part? When paired with our Rear MBUS Pro sight, depending on its placement in relation to the rear aperture, the hood creates a diopter-style sight picture for faster target acquisition and more precise shots.”
