Magpul has launched the EHG™ RG9™ Grip for Ruger® RXM handguns, offering customization for both Full-size and Compact variants. The grip enables users to switch between sizes using a compatible Fire Control Insert and includes features like a universal rail and improved ergonomics. Each grip is made from durable injection-molded polymer.
Magpul states “If you haven’t seen it yet, we partnered with Ruger® to make a 9mm handgun – the RXM – that’s easy in every way: easy to shoot and manipulate the controls, easy to customize, easy on the eyes, and easy on the wallet. Ruger made the firearm parts, and we made the Enhanced Handgun Grip (EGH), which includes aftermarket versions in different colors. Now, RXM owners (or new buyers) can take the Fire Control Insert (FCI) and drop it in another EHG to change the fit and feel of their firearm, all for about 40 bucks. The newest EHGs allow the RXM to be modified to be more of a duty-sized or competition gun when using the Full-Size RXM EHG, or to be converted to an even smaller footprint for concealed carry using the Sub-Compact RXM EHG. Both variants will come in the original EHG colors with everything installed directly from us.
he Ruger RXM is a pistol we built with Ruger, and we’re pretty proud of it. Thanks to a bit of ingenuity, a single FCI can be used to swap between grip sizes, two of which will be available this summer, and can make the RXM either a Full-Size pistol, or a Sub-Compact intended for CCW. Both options include our ¾-scale TSP on the front strap, back strap, side panels, and forward index pads, a universal light/laser accessory rail, a trigger guard undercut for a high grip and improved shooter comfort, a magazine-release scallop for easy access to the textured magazine release, and are compatible with both Magpul GL9 mags or OEM GLOCK® mags. Want to trick out the gun or build it for a specific purpose? Each EHG can accept most Gen3 magazine and slide stop components, as well as holsters and other parts. Both EHGs ship with a mag release, mag release spring, slide lock spring, and takedown pin spring, all from Ruger and installed by us. Of course, each EHG – regardless of size – is built from strong, rigid, injection-molded polymer.”
