Franklin Armory has launched the AR-Essential Binary trigger for AR-style semiautomatic firearms, offering a traditional mil-spec style safety selector. Priced at $299.99, it provides a more affordable alternative to the $429.99 AR-ELITE trigger. This model aims to introduce more customers to the Binary Firing System experience.

Franklin Armory states “Franklin Armory, Inc., one of America’s most innovative manufacturers of firearms and accessories, announced today the latest model in its Binary Firing System® lineup. The new AR-Essential Binary® trigger for AR-style semiautomatic firearms features a mil-spec style, single sided safety selector paddle for those who prefer a more traditional operational experience.

The new AR-Essential Binary trigger is priced to be a more affordable option to Franklin Armory’s AR-ELITE Binary trigger, which features interchangeable straight and curved trigger bows and includes additional buffer, trigger, and hammer springs for fine tuning. MSRP for AR-Essential is $299,99. MSRP for AR-ELITE is $429.99.

“Our new AR-Essential Binary trigger provides dealers with a lower priced option for introducing customers to the Binary Firing System experience,” said Franklin Armory President Jay Jacobson. “Simultaneously, we were also able to produce a more affordable Binary trigger for AR traditionalists who prefer the look and operation of a mil-spec style safety selector.”
