
Berger has announced the release of their new 6.8mm/.277” Dia. 150 Grain Hybrid Target bullets for 2025. Designed for modern platforms and optimized for 1:9” barrels, these bullets feature a high ballistic coefficient and are suitable for classic cartridges. They will be available at authorized retailers this summer.

The new Berger 270 caliber 150 gr. Hybrid Target was born from a partnership with long-range enthusiasts loading for modern 6.8 Western and 277 Fury platforms seeking a high-performance projectile. Their demands included an optimized bullet for 1:9” barrels, unmatched Berger trusted jump-tolerant hybrid ogive, with an ultra-consistent, high Ballistic Coefficient (BC = 0.580/0.297).
The new 270 Caliber 150 gr. Hybrid Target is also the best choice to breathe new life into existing classics such as the 270 Winchester, 270 WSM, 27 Nosler, and 270 Weatherby Magnum while on the range. Like all Berger bullets, the new 150 gr. Hybrid Target is built with Berger J4 Jackets, unmatched in the industry with <.0003” Total Indicated Runout (TIR).
