Otter Creek Labs offers a 5.56 vented end cap designed for the Infinity suppressor and blast diverter, optimized for 5.56 semi-automatics. It features fewer vent holes and a smaller bore than the 7.62 version, enhancing sound and back pressure mitigation for 5.56 and 6mm rifles while ensuring superior sound performance.
Otter Creek Labs state “This is a 5.56 vented end cap that fits the Infinity suppressor and Infinity blast diverter. Whereas the 7.62 vented end cap is optimized around large frame7.62 semi autos this 5.56 vented end cap is optimized around 5.56 semi autos. It features less vent holes around the outside and a smaller bore when compared to the 7.62 vented end cap. This vented 5.56 end cap will give you a good mix of sound and back pressure mitigation when used on 5.56 or 6mm rifles and sound better than the 7.62 vented end cap.This end cap is also approved for 6mm use.”
