It offers full protection and easy access while drawing. Currently available for right-hand use, with left-hand versions forthcoming. Available in various colors.
Ghostmen Designs states “The Risen Optic Hood fits all 6390RDS and 6360RDS style Safariland 6000 series holsters that have a current optic hood. Longer, Higher optic hood which allows larger optics AIMPOINT ACRO, HOLOSUN 509T, TRIJICON SRO to fit into your Holster and still be protected from the elements. It fully closes to protect the optic and flips open as should when drawing the firearms from the holster. Current version is right hand, left hand is coming soon.
