Brownells has recently shown off their newest retro AR pattern upper receiver with the XM177E2.
Brownells state “The Brownells XM177E2 Upper Receiver is a unique and modern offering inspired by popular carbine configurations, perfect for your next retro build.
It features a classic XM177E2 moderator-inspired flash hider with ports around its radius, designed as a flash hider rather than a suppressor.
The barrels come in either a 1-12 or 1-7 twist to accommodate different bullet weights, and the assembly includes authentic components like the M16A1 style receiver and ejection port cover, A1 rear sight, and black carbine handguards.”
