Parker Mountain Machine has debuted the new PMM Ultra Compensator for the FN 510 pistol.

Parker Mountain Machine states “During the testing of this compensator, we used several different brands and grains of 10mm ammo.

1000 fps range – These are going to be your cheaper range ammo closer to the pressures of 40 s&w.

These yielded results around 56% with the likes of Winchester and S&B.

We wanted to make sure the compensator would function with this type of ammo (we have not tested all brands) but this is not really the purpose of 10mm.

1250 fps range – This is more akin to “true” 10mm, this is where the brunt of our focus was spent, at 62% this is the highest performance we got out of any compensator so far.

Don’t get us wrong, it’s still a punch in the palm of your hand but the sights track much like a 9mm.

This leads to impressive performance if you use a 10mm for defensive or hunting use as split times for accurate fire on target drop dramatically.

Heavier 1350fps range – These are your Buffalo Bore, Underwood and hand loads that are pushing the envelope of 10mm.

During our ransom rest testing the baseline (no compensator) tests would max out the range of the ransom giving us inaccurate data.

Our range of motion would max out at ~82 degrees of climb and with the compensator that same batch of Buffalo bore was back down in the low 40 degrees of climb so still a substantial amount wherever that true number would land.”
