Lead and Steel has released their latest for the AR-15 pattern with the newly updated ARC Grit Cutter bolt carrier Group currently available in TIN and in DLC.

Lead and Steel state “The All-Rounder Carbine Grit Cutter Bolt Carrier Group (ARC BCG) is our individually proof tested and mag particle inspected bolt with an inner diameter bolt carrier run that is machined tighter than competitor offerings.

This gives the bolt a “Just Right” gas seal inside of the carrier which increases gas efficiency and service life.

Nearly all M16 BCG manufacturers do not compensate for the lack of chrome plating in a TDP bolt carrier. Our bolt is shot-peened Crucible Carpenter 158®, and individually proof tested to guarantee service life.

Our machined, chrome lined gas key is sealed against the carrier with Permatex gasket sealant and is affixed with our OCKS fasteners at 53 in/lbs w/thread locker.

Our extractors are billet machined 4140 and manganese phosphate coated to retain grip against the casing rim, and utilize genuine Sprinco 5 coil extractor springs with rubber insert for added reliability and service life.”

KEY FEATURES:

  • Features carrier-belly scalloped relief cuts to assist with loaded magazine insertion.
  • Extended rails for added carrier stability during cycling.
  • Machined sand cuts limit granular resistance between upper receiver contact surfaces.
