CMMG has announced their latest in the Defcan suppressor series with the new DEFCAN-22 rimfire silencer.
CMMG states “Weighing in at a mere 5.6oz the .22LR DEFCAN-22 brings superior sound suppression to your favorite rimfire cartridges.
The scant weight and 1” diameter allow the DEFCAN-22 to be as at home on a handgun as it is on the end of a rifle.
Removable end caps and baffles make user serviceability a cinch for cleanup while baffle indexing marks make for quick reassembly that assures you get optimal sound suppression once it’s reassembled.
A hex opening on the front cap allows a 1/4″ allen wrench or hex bit to be inserted for easier disassembly in the event any carbon fouls up the threads.
No need for proprietary muzzle devices. With a 1/2-28″ threaded mount the DEFCAN-22 quickly attaches to your favorite rimfire rifles and pistols.
By placing the serial number and legal markings on the steel mount interface, the DEFCAN-22 body, baffles, and front end cap can be easily repaired in the unlikely event of catastrophic damage without having to replace the entire suppressor.
