Ripcord Industries in their latest release has shown off the new Ripcord Extended magazine release for the Glock pattern.

Ripcord Industries state “If you have trucker knucles, nugget thumbs, prefer using an extended magazine release on your Glock, and expect a crisp feel when dropping magazines, our EMR (Extended Magazine Release) is for you!

This magazine release is based on the OEM style 4th & 5th Gen versions, is made of 7075-T6 Aluminum, and sports “Glock style” texture/serrations.

There are many options for aftermarket extended magazine releases but often times, they can feel “mushy”.

We wanted to provide a crisp, tactile feel when dropping magazines for a reload.

The extended release arm isn’t angled, simply extended.

We didn’t want the release to interact with holsters in a manner that would inadvertently release a magazine.”
