Ruger has announced the release of two new Marlin lever-action rifles.

Ruger states “Ruger is proud to introduce two new Marlin® lever-action rifles, including one new model of the Dark Series and one model of the SBL Series.

The Marlin Dark Series Model 336™ in .30-30 Win. features a nylon-reinforced polymer stock and an aluminum handguard with M-LOK and QD attachment capability.

The SBL Series Model 1894™ chambered in .44 Rem Mag features a laminate stock and forend, a big loop lever, Picatinny rail and threaded barrel.”

DARK SERIES MODEL 336

• Receiver, lever and trigger guard plate are CNC machined from alloy steel.
• Barrel is cold hammer-forged which results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity.
• Threaded barrel, with factory-installed radial muzzle brake has a 5/8″-24 pattern to accommodate other barrel accessories. Thread protector also included.
• Major components feature enhanced durability due to the Graphite Black Cerakote® finish.
• The bolt and lever feature a nitride finish for superior wear protection.
• Five-round, tubular magazine with a loading gate located on the receiver.
• Nylon-reinforced polymer stock with M-LOK® attachment slots for mounting of accessories.
• Cheek riser included for an optimum sight picture when using an optic.

• Barrel is made of 410 stainless steel and is cold hammer-forged which results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity.
• Threaded barrel, with factory-installed thread protector, has a 5/8″-24 pattern to accommodate a muzzle brake or other barrel accessories.
• Picatinny rail provides a stable mounting surface for scope rings and a variety of modern optics.
• Fiber optic front sight with a tritium ring for improved visibility in low light conditions.
• Tubular magazine features a loading gate located on the receiver and will accept 8 rounds of .44 Rem Mag or 9 rounds of .44 Special ammunition.
• Soft-rubber buttpad effectively absorbs recoil.
• Positive, push-button, cross-bolt manual safety and traditional half-cock hammer.
• Reliably feeds a wide range of .44 Rem Mag and .44 Special factory ammunition.
