PTR Industries state “The VENT suppressor line utilizes a new and innovative patented technology called Purposely Induced Porosity™ (PIP).
PIP allows gases to escape through multiple outlets in a suppressor.
This rapidly reduces the volume of gas pushed through the aperture, while removing heat and lowering system pressure.
A 3D-printed, porous metal-foam coupled with the internal structure maximizes deceleration.”
