Pietta Firearms has recently announced the reintroduction of the popular Alchimsta II revolver.
Pietta Firearms state “Pietta Firearms, the leader in refined, historical firearm reproductions and quality, innovative, modern firearms, announces the re-release of their iconic Alchimista II single-action revolver.
Since the company’s inception, Pietta’s single-action revolvers has played a key-role in shaping the western/cowboy gun category.
This new launch signals Pietta’s dedication to designing a revolver that truly meets the changing needs of shooters.
As part of the Great Western II series of single-action revolvers, distributed exclusively by EMF, the refreshed revolver – brought back by thousands of requests from dealers and customers, embodies every element shooters want in a readily used single-action revolver.
Personally designed by Alessandro Pietta, the Alchimista II was designed starting with the 1873 single-action and combining the 1860 Army grip frame and adding a competition trigger that is wider and set back, allowing for a larger finger in the trigger guard, and a lower, wider hammer.
“Since Pietta was founded 60 years ago, our mission has been to create the most authentic, most thoughtfully designed firearms.
Our customers have been vital to us delivering on this mission, their feedback is at the core of everything we do.
This evolution of one of our most sought-after revolvers is a direct response to their shifting needs, shooting habits and preferences, and it reaffirms our commitment to designing with shooters in mind,” comments Alberto Pietta.
Available in either .357 or 45LC with the shooter’s choice of 4.75”, 5.5” or 7.5” barrel, casehardened frame, and 1860 checkered walnut grips.
The Alchimista II will be available on display at this year’s SHOT Show, booth # 14827.”
