NightHawk Custom has debuted their latest in the Ambassador series of 1911 pistols with the new full billet machined Envoy.
Nighthawk Custom states “The Envoy is the third installment in Nighthawk Custom’s Ambassador Series of 1911 pistols.
Built on a government frame, the Envoy sports a match grade 5″ barrel that can be chambered in 9mm or .45 ACP. One of the distinguishing features of the Ambassador Series returns with the Envoy in the form of positive front cocking serrations.
Standard cocking serrations on the rear of the slide offer a superb grip while racking the slide, while the protruding serrations on the front give ample grip for a press check.
These front cocking serrations see material removed from the front of the slide, revealing these “positive” cocking serrations for a unique feel and look.
Our patented Flush-Fit Magwell allows for speedy reloads while not adding the the overall length of the grip.
We partnered with Railscales to create the custom grips for the Ambassador Series, providing a thinner grip that is both comfortable in the hand and helps concealment while carrying.
The front strap and mainspring housing each boast 25 lpi checkering for a sure grip on the pistol.
A crowned bull barrel and bull nose cut on the front of the slide top off this pistol.
A black nitride finish comes standard on this pistol.
The Envoy can be upgraded to a double stack configuration chambered in 9mm.”
