Ruger has expanded their popular MAX-9 series of handguns with a new 4 inch model.

Ruger states “The popular MAX-9® – a pistol with all the features of a full-sized handgun in a size that is comfortable for everyday carry, is now available with a 4” barrel.

The new 4″ barrel and extended slide provide better balance, a longer sight radius, and reduced felt recoil for an overall excellent shooting experience.

Chambered in 9mm Luger, the Ruger® MAX-9 has an impressive 12+1 capacity.”

  • Slim, lightweight and compact for personal protection while still providing a capacity of up to 12+1 rounds of 9mm Luger ammunition.
  • Rugged construction with through-hardened alloy steel slide; one-piece, precision-machined fire control chassis; and high-performance, glass-filled nylon grip frame.
  • Medium-textured grip frame provides a secure and comfortable grip.
