Beretta has debuted the Revamped Piertro Beretta 486 Copernicus tribute side by side shotgun.
Beretta states “As seen for the first time at the Beretta factory HQ, during the exclusive launch event of the revamped Pietro Beretta Selection luxury division: 486 Copernicus, a tribute gun for the 550 years since the genius’ birth.
To celebrate the work and cultural impact of Nicolaus Copernicus we’re dedicating our 2023 one-off to the heliocentric theory and observation of the universe, with a one-of-a-kind piece based designed on the famous 486 Serpentina side-by-side frame.
A 12ga. shotgun embodying a testament to our desire to push the boundaries of innovation and craftsmanship and the result of 800 hours of work by master craftsmen in Gardone Val Trompia, added to months of study by Beretta’s R&D and Design.”
