Strike Industries has recently shown support for Holosun in the 407c/507c X2 and Trijicon’s SRO with their new Optic Covers.

Strike Industries state ” Our new optic covers are designed to include a lens cover to practice Occluded Dot Training.

Essentially, your dominant eye focuses on the dot while your non-dominant eye focus on the target and its surroundings.

Your brain merges these two different images into one clear picture.

By practicing this exercise, the user is able to shoot with both eyes open and quickly acclimate to using a red dot sight.

It’s an extremely helpful tool, especially for shooters who are transitioning from iron sights to using pistol optics.

Think of our Optic Cover like training wheels, but for shooting fast.”

KEY FEATURES:

  • Shields optic from bullet casings and potential scratches
  • Easy accessibility to control buttons
  • Formed to ensure a firm fit under heavy recoil
  • Use of lens cover enables Occluded Dot Training
  • Intuitive back cut to work with most rear iron sights on the market
  • Rapidly install and remove when needed
  • Constructed from TPU and polycarbonate for safeguarding against wear and tear
