The 416R stainless steel barrel is hand-lapped. The process begins with polishing the feed ramp.
The bore is then hand-lapped by using a polishing compound. This removes any tooling marks left by the button rifling process and ensures a clean and uniform bore.
It also reduces fouling and friction, allowing for a smooth path for the bullet to travel, making the bullet trajectory consistent, and allowing for improved accuracy (sub 1 MOA guaranteed) all while ensuring a longer barrel life.
The barrel is engraved with the serial number from the lower receiver to match.
This rifle boasts an upgraded MagPul buttstock and grip and Velocity three-pound trigger.
