RIFLE DYNAMICS RELEASES NEW SOVIET KLMK 7.62 BULGARIAN MAGLADS MAGAZINES

Rifle Dynamics has released the latest in the Maglads series with new Soviet KLMK 7.62 Bulgarian magazines.

Rifle Dynamics state “Solnechnye Zaychiki (Sunshine Rays), also sometimes called Stair Step, and its later derivative Berezhka (Birch), is a Soviet, two-color, ‘digital’ camouflage pattern used on a variety of camouflage suits and uniforms since its introduction in the late 1970s.

Although typically referred to as KLMK, it is actually the name of the one-piece camoflauge suit that featured an early variation of the camo.

The pattern is probably best known for its appearance on uniforms used by airborne and Spetsnaz teams during the Soviet-Afghan War.

Today there are nearly a dozen variations on the pattern due to commercial production & unit requests such as a winter variant consisting of white and grey.

The unique camouflage featured in Red Dawn (1984) was an approximation of the pattern based on what little reference material and photos of the pattern were available at the time.”
