Liberty Ammunition has recently expanded support for the iconic 357 Magnum cartridge with the new OverWatch 357 Magnum round.
Liberty Ammunition states “Liberty Ammunition is pleased to announce Liberty OverWatch™ in .357 Mag. Liberty “OverWatch” was developed at the request of a government agency and initially offered in limited skus.
The ammunition features a slightly heavier projectile for greater penetration and top performance.
The .357 Mag features a 70gr projectile that travels at 1830 feet per second from a 5.6” barrel.
That is 520 ft pounds of energy! Both the projectile and casing are plated as well. Most importantly, the projectile is designed to rupture after entry, which delivers ALL of the energy into the threat.
