Bear Creek Arsenal enters second generation of the Gens1s pistol with the new Genes1s II pistol.
Bear Creek Arsenal states “Bear Creek Arsenal is bringing the Genes1s back to the market.
We launched Genes1s and with customer feedback, we took that all-metal, tried-and-true striker-fired, full-size duty handgun, and upgraded to the Genes1s II.
The Genes1s II comes in weighing a very reasonable twenty-eight ounces unloaded, uses the durability of our high-quality 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, and was redesigned for better ergonomic comfort by rounding the edges and creating a more comfortable grip for the shooter.
The stippling will allow for an assertive grip but still allow for the ease of shooting.
The wider trigger guard with the handgun’s magazine is well flared for smooth and snag-free reloads and the M1913 Picatinny rail easily allows for attachments such as lights or lasers.
The two-piece metal frame adds a comfortable weight and provides less recoil and faster acquisition for getting back on target.
The black nitride slide has window cuts as well as front and rear slide serrations and sports a threaded black nitride barrel constructed from 4150 Chrome Moly.
This barrel will support suppressors or compensators with a ½ x 28 thread pitch and a thread cap is also included.
The Genes1s II is optics-ready with an RMR footprint.
Additionally, the slide is installed with metal sights with photoluminescent aiming dots for low-light shooting.
The Genes1s II is compatible with a vast selection of aftermarket parts, accessories, and holsters. In addition to this, the Genes1s II includes two 17-round 9mm magazines with every handgun.”
