Gorilla Ammunition has recently expanded support for the up and coming 8.6 blackout cartridge with the Gorilla Silverback 288gr Fracturing SubSonic Ammunition designed to be used through bolt action rifles.
Gorilla Ammunition states “Gorilla 8.6 Blackout ammunition is here. This subsonic load features our 288gr Solid Copper Fracturing Projectile.
This projectile is designed to fragment when impacting a fluid area, shedding four pedals that are about 42gr’s a piece, penetrating radially to a depth of about 10 inches.
The approximate 120gr base of the projectile then penetrates to a depth of 16”-19”
