Smith and Wesson states “New for 2023, chambered in the high-velocity, flat-shooting center-fire 5.7x28mm, the M&P®5.7.

Featuring our new TEMPO® barrel system, a lock-breech two-part barrel with a proprietary gas system, the M&P®5.7 is reliable in extracting and cycling the 5.7x28mm round.”
